Troop 1518 - The Outdoor Connection

Half Dome Hike, Joshua Tree, and Eagle Scout Project at Beckman High School

Troop 1518 connects boys to the outdoors, while building leadership skills that will last a lifetime.  Camping and hiking are part of the experience, along with advancing through the scout ranks.  Boys can connect with our community through service projects developed by our prospective Eagle Scouts, and we've partnered with the Outdoor Education Center in Irvine Regional Park in support of conservation efforts at the Ranch Camp.  Scouts can choose the activities most interest them and participate in those that best fit their schedules.

We usually hold troop meetings twice a month on Mondays from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Pioneer Middle School in Tustin, and host a number of outdoor activities throughout the surrounding region.  Scouts can challenge themselves with high adventure activities such as camping, High Sierra backpack trips, rock climbing, cycling, fishing, skiing/snowboarding, white-water rafting, and kayaking.
